The name Sailtage was derived
from the Christian names of John and Jenny Horgan’s
4 children, Sarah, Lisa, Tamara and Gerard.
It is a premium fine wine
producer located in the beautiful and spectacular
viticultural region of Pemberton. Salitage is dedicated
to producing the highest quality wine. Compatible
climate and suitable soil types are fundamental
to this objective and Salitage is blessed with both.

Barrel
Fermented Chardonnay 2003 (RV) Mid straw in colour. The nose
exhibits fruit aromas of citrus, stone fruits and
melon, with spicy oak and mealy characters derived
from the barrel fermentation and lees contact. The
palate is generous in flavour, underpinned by grapefruit
like acid. The finish shows understated oak and excellent
fruit flavour and length
Pinot
Noir 2002 (RV) Good depth of color, brick red
hues. Aroma of plum, black cherry, raspberry, aniseed,
white pepper and hints of smoky bacon. The palate
reveals the sweet fruit and fine lingering tannins.
