Mount Langi Ghiran is home to a state-of-the-art winery and expanded the estate vineyards to over 60 hectares. Modernity however does not compromise with quality: the winery is committed to the principles of organic wine production and adopted a policy of low chemical input for the last 15 years. Their wines have long been ranked in the absolute top ring of Australia’s reds and recognized worldwide.

Billi Billi Shiraz 2005 (RV)
Dark crimson colour, even on the rim of the glass! A good sign of the density of the wine. Black pepper dominates the fruit in this wine on the nose. On the palate; once again the pepper is prominent with the tannins giving the wine a good balance of sweet fruit flavors, i.e. blackberries.

- 85 points: Wine Spectator

Cliff Edge Riesling 2007 (RV)
This wine has uplifted lemon / citrus aromas, and a flinty palate. The excellent balance of the grape acid keeps the wine elegant and maintains the pungent aromas.

Cliff Edge Shiraz 2004 (RV)
Deep purple color and rich sweet fruit aromas indicate this wines depth and length on the palate. Deeper and powerful with subtle overtones of pepper. Matured in high quality American and French oak integrating the tannins and fruit giving the wines length and complexity.

- 87 points: Robert Parker (For 2001 vintage)
- 90 points: Wine Spectator (For 2001 and 2002 vintage)

Cabernet Merlot 2001 (RV)
Deep colour and concentrated fruit are in abundance here, with flavours of cassis, liquorice and spice. A dense mouth filling wine with a very long future.

- 90 points: Robert Parker (For 2000 vintage)

Shiraz 2003 (RV)
Typical Langi Shiraz with deep purple/ crimson color and liquorice/ pepper aromas evident when the wine is poured into a glass. A rich, soft tannin texture to the middle palate, builds a good balance of acid and tannins leaving a clean, fresh lingering sensation on the palate.

- 90 points: Robert Parker (For 2001 vintage)
- 91 points: James Halliday
