Flowers Vineyard & Winery
is located in a tiny corner of the Sonoma Coast
American Viticultural Area (AVA), approximately
twelve miles north of the small coastal town of
Jenner. The surrounding landscape has been greatly
determined by the famous San Andreas rift, a fault
line which is, undoubtedly, responsible for much
of the region’s geologic movement over the
past few million years. Adding to this geologic
design are the effects of wind and water that have
further etched and exposed the steep, narrow ridges
defining the area. Volcanic deposits are apparent
and river activities are evident. All these factors
provide for excellent soil conditions in which to
grow world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Showing balanced depth and complexity,
light straw to golden color, aromas unfold with layers
of lemon, pear, apricot and wet stone minerality.
This vintage shows crispness on the palate, with a
lush and balanced citrus finish. Showing very well
now and will continue to gain complexity for 1 - 3
years.
Fresh fruit aromas of cherry,
raspberry, and plum are followed by hints of violet,
spice, mineral, and pepper. This wine offers crisp
acidity upon entry unfolding with juicy flavors of
strawberry, raspberry and black fruits and leather.
Tannins are supple creating a lingering finish with
cola and smokiness. Enjoy now or cellar up to 4 years.

Andreen-Gale
Pinot Noir 2005
Dark, ruby color. Fruit aromas
of raspberry, cherry and red plum are followed by
hints of mineral, dried herbs and orange blossom.
This Andreen-Gale expresses the richness and balance
of coastal fruit from our estate vineyards. Long supple
tannins on the palate are balanced well with a crisp
acidity. Enjoy over the next 3-5 years.
